New York, September 28, 2025 – On the occasion of Climate Week NYC 2025, the Princess Camilla of Bourbon Charitable Foundation renewed its commitment to environmental protection and sustainable development during a series of international meetings and roundtables aimed at strengthening global cooperation in the fight against climate change.
Throughout the week, Princess Camilla contributed, albeit remotely, to two official events focused on the protection of marine ecosystems and climate resilience in vulnerable communities, highlighting the central role of her Foundation’s initiatives in education and environmental matters.
“Climate change is no longer a distant threat: it is a reality that disproportionately affects the most vulnerable populations. Our Foundation works to strengthen environmental education and promote conservation projects that have a real impact, especially in coastal and island areas,” declared Princess Camilla during the event “Oceans and Islands: Building Climate Resilience from the Sea Up,” held at the World Climate Forum.
The Princess Camilla of Bourbon Charitable Foundation thus reaffirms its role as a bridge between philanthropy, diplomacy, and concrete action, supporting the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda and working alongside institutional partners and international NGOs.
